St. Lucia Turtle Tour
This tour runs from November-March. We have knowledgable and experienced guides who will lead you in watching one of nature’s circles of life. We offer a chance to observe Leatherback and Loggerhead Sea Turtles laying eggs on a beach. The turtles are returning to their place of birth to lay the next batch of eggs. This tour runs after the sun goes down because the turtles tend to come a shore during that time. We collect you from your accommodation in St. Lucia and go straight to the World Heritage site of Isimangaliso Wetland Park. We’ll go through this park twice on game drives and you’ll have the chance to see leopards, hyenas, hippos, buffalos and antelopes. Once on Cape Vidal we’ll drive and be on the beach for four hours. We’ll be searching for the turtles and have dinner under the stars while still in the wilderness of Isimangaliso Wetland Park. Please note this tour is weather permitted and on occasion we did not see the turtles.
