Almost Famous Adventures has put together a tour that no other tour operator is offering or has put together before now. We’ve created an adventure that will take you to the Manyara Ranch Conservancy, Babu’s Camp in Mkomazi National Park and ending at the exclusive Tides Lodges on the Tanzania coast. We’ll start off at the Manyara Ranch which is a private game reserve that offers walking, horse back and vehicle safaris. The next stop will be the new intimate Babus Camp where you’ll have the option to hike or do a walking or vehicle safari at a national park. The tour heads east towards the swahili coastline and will take you to the private pristine beach of the Tides Lodge. This African oasis combines the experience of the bush with rustic luxury accommodation. The peaceful atmosphere and surroundings are tropical tranquility. The Tides Lodge is a lovely small beach resort on a picture postcard beach.

Day 1: Arrive at Manyara Ranch in time for lunch. Exploratory game drive during the afternoon and sundowners. Then a night game drive and bush dinner. Overnight in camp.

Day 2: After breakfast, a full days game drive in Tarangire National Park with a hamper lunch. Return to the ranch and enjoy dinner under the stars. Overnight in camp or fly-camp.

Day 3: Early morning game walk, bush breakfast. Continue the walk back to camp. Lunch in camp. During your afternoon game drive, stop to visit a Maasai Boma. On the way back to camp stop to observe the wildlife from a specially constructed hide. BBQ dinner and overnight in camp.

Day 4: Breakfast in camp. Depart for Babu’s Camp at Mkomazi National Park. You arrive in time for a sunset game drive. Dinner and overnight at camp

Day 5: After breakfast travelers can chose between a classic driving safari or step right into the bush by doing a walking safari in the park. Our walking safari is for the adventurous and energetic intrepid travelers who wish to come face to face with the animals. Dinner and overnight at camp.

Day 6: Depart Babu’s Camp and drive 5 scenic hours to the Tides Lodge at Pangani on the Indian Ocean. The Tides Lodge prides itself on being friendly and unpretentious on a pristine stretch of the spectacular Swahili coastline. This African oasis combines the experience of the bush with rustic luxury accommodation. The peaceful atmosphere and surroundings are tropical tranquility. You’ll be able to see sunset from your cottage or take a Dhow Cruise on this day.

Day 7: wake up and choose from many of the fun and relaxing activities. Guest can indulge in snorkeling, scuba diving, sea kayaking, big game fishing and top the day off with a traditional Dhow Sunset cruise. You can rent a bicycle and cycle through the local villages or hold hands with a loved one, walk on the soft white sandy beach without passing another soul.

Day 8: wake up and choose from many of the fun and relaxing activities. Guest can indulge in snorkeling, scuba diving, sea kayaking, big game fishing and top the day off with a traditional Dhow Sunset cruise. You can rent a bicycle and cycle through the local villages or hold hands with a loved one, walk on the soft white sandy beach without passing another soul.
