Almost Famous Adventures offers a safari and beach package to the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and exclusive Tides Lodge on the coast of Tanzania. The tour starts with several games drives each day in the Serengeti and onto the Ngorongoro Crater for game drives in this one and only wildlife environment. The tour comes back to Arusha and you fly to the private air strip of the Tides Lodges. This African oasis combines the experience of the bush with rustic luxury accommodation. The peaceful atmosphere and surroundings are tropical tranquility. The Tides Lodge is a lovely small beach resort on a picture postcard beach.

Day 1: We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 AM and proceed to Serengeti N.P with a game drive and optional stops at Olduvai Gorge and/ or Maasai Village en route.  You will have dinner and overnight at Seronera or Lobo Campsite or lodge. Meal Plan: L, D

Day 2: Today is a full day of game viewing in Serengeti with morning and afternoon game-drives, returning to the campsite or lodge meals and overnight. Meal Plan: B, L, D   (Note: It is good to rise early one morning in Serengeti for game viewing before breakfast, returning to the camp or lodge for a late breakfast.)

Day 3: After breakfast, leave for a morning game drive with your picnic boxes, departing Serengeti for Ngorongoro Crater with game viewing on the way. You will have dinner and overnight at Simba campsite or lodge. Meal Plan: B, L, D.

Day 4: After an early breakfast, descend into the Crater for a crater tour and game viewing with a picnic lunch at hippo pool site to enjoy the game and vegetation in the unbroken caldera home for almost 30,000 animals including the last remaining Black Rhinos.  Drives back to Arusha arriving about 5PM and transfer to your hotel for overnight.  Meal Plan: (B, L) Approx Transit time: 3 hrs

Day 5: Transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport and fly to the Tides Lodge private air strip Via Zanzibar. You will spend the next 4 nights at the private, secluded and exotic Tides Lodge on the pristine beaches of the Swahili Coast.

Day 6: After breakfast choose many of the water activities such as snorkeling, scuba diving, sea kayaking, wind surfing, sailing on a traditional Dhow and opted for either a half or full big game fishing trip. Guests can rent a bicycle or venture on a walking trip to the numerous local villages close to the Tides Lodge.

Day 7: After breakfast choose many of the water activities such as snorkeling, scuba diving, sea kayaking, wind surfing, sailing on a traditional Dhow and opted for either a half or full big game fishing trip. Day 9: After breakfast check out. We recommend you fly back to Dar Es Salaam or Zanzibar.
